May 18, 2013 SANDY'S WISH by SAND CHASER out of WISH FOR SPEED, gets his first win at Raceway Park on Saturday night.  SANDY'S WISH is trained by Randall McConnell and was driven by Mark Headworth.
May 13, 2013 DL WIND, by CANYON WIND out of BLUERIDGE MELODY, won at Hoosier Park and earned a new lifetime mark of 1:552.4.  DL WIND is trained by Michigan's own John Taylor and was driven to victory by Ricky Macomber.
May 11, 2013 LOVES A CHALLENGE, by TULANE out of Winwood Farm broodmare, LOVERING, grabs a win at Hanover Raceway on Saturday night.  LOVES A CHALLENGE is trained by Stephen Davis and was driven by Scott Young.
May 10, 2013 BREEZY BABE, a 3-year-old filly by CANYON WIND out of the ADMIRALS GALLEY mare BLIZZARD BABE, wins at Hoosier Park on Friday night in 1:56.1.  HOOSIER CHATTER, by CANYON WIND finished a close third.  BREEZY BABE is trained by Rodney Lorenzo and was driven by Samuel Widger.
May 3, 2013 HOOSIER CHINNA, by CANYON WIND, gets a win at Hoosier Park Raceway on Friday night in 1:55.2.  HOOSIER CHINNA is geering up for a busy summer and she's off to a good start.  Trained by Ron Burke and driven by Ricky Macomber.
April 27, 2013 BREEZY BABE, a 3-year-old filly by CANYON WIND out of the ADMIRALS GALLEY mare BLIZZARD BABE, wins her qualifier on Saturday morning at Hoosier Park in 1:58.2.  BREEZY BABE is trained by Rodney Lorenzo and was driven by Samuel Widger.
April 26, 2013 TROPICAL BREEZE, by CANYON WIND out of FREDDI'S SURPRISE, wins another big one, F & M Preferred with a purse of $31,000, at Yonkers Raceway on Friday night.  In TROPICAL BREEZE fashion, she darted to the lead but was tucked in at the rail by the 1/4 pole.  It looked like she would be boxed in at the finish, but Brian Sears found a hole by the 3/4 pole and TROPICAL BREEZE would not be denied the win.
April 20, 2013 PC'S WILDCARD, by SAND CHASER out of POSTCARD is back in action grabbing a win at Northville Downs on Saturday night.  PC'S WILDCARD is trained by Mike Sweeney and driven by Jeff Sweeney.
April 19, 2013 TROPICAL BREEZE, by CANYON WIND out of FREDDI'S SURPRISE, wins at Yonkers Raceway on Friday night.  In the rain, going wire-to-wire,  TROPICAL BREEZE wins it with ease and earns a new lifetime mark of 1:52.3h.  TROPICAL BREEZE is trained by Tony O'Sullivan and was driven by Brian Sears.
April 13, 2013 CROCADILE CANYON, by CANYON WIND out of HURRIKANENANCYLYNN, wins his qualifier at Hoosier Park on Saturday morning in 1:58.0.  CROCADILE CANYON is one among many CANYON WIND 3-year-olds preparing for the upcoming racing colt stakes season.  CROCADILE CANYON is trained by Rodney Lorenzo and was driven by Trace Tetrick.
April 5, 2013 HOOSIER CHINNA, by CANYON WIND out of DAME CROMBIE by ABERCROMBIE, wins her qualifier at The Meadows on Friday morning, in 1:56.1.  HOOSIER CHINNA is gearing up for colt stakes in Indiana this summer.  Trained by Ron Burke, HOOSIER CHINNA was driven by W M Wilder.
March 25, 2013 SOOO WINDY, by CANYON WIND out of Winwood Farm broodmare SO HANOVER, wins at Yonkers on Monday night.  With Jason Bartlett in the bike, she took the lead and never gave it up.  At the slightest hint of a challenge, she found another gear and didn't allow anyone to come within 1 length of her.  The weather was bad and the track was sloppy and she was still able to pull off a win in 1:57.1.
March 15, 2013 TROPICAL BREEZE, by CANYON WIND out of FREDDI'S SURPRISE, wins her first start of 2013 at Woodbine Raceway on Friday night.  Getting away last from the 6-hole, TROPICAL BREEZE didn't make her move until the last turn, where she tipped 3-wide and passed the field in the stretch winning by 1/2 length.  TROPICAL BREEZE earned a new lifetime mark of 1:53.3.  Trained by Tony O'Sullivan and driven by Doug McNair.
March 1, 2013 SOOO WINDY, by CANYON WIND out of Winwood Farm broodmare SO HANOVER, wins another one at Woodbine Raceway on Friday night in 1:55.4s.
February 14, 2013 - SOOO WINDY, by CANYON WIND out of Winwood Farm broodmare, SO HANOVER, grabs another win at Woodbine.  She's currently being trained by Tony O'Sullivan and was driven by Chris Christoforou.

- SHOW TOPPER, by WHATANARTIST, also got a win at Woodbine on Thursday night.  Trained by Raymond Farmer and driven by michael Saftic.
January 10, 2013 SOOO WINDY, by CANYON WIND out of Winwood Farm broodmare SO HANOVER, wins at Woodbine Raceway on Thursday night and earns a new lifetime mark of 1:54.3s.
January 2, 2013 TOPANGA CANYON, by CANYON WIND out of CAPTIVA CAM, wins at Western Fair Raceway on Saturday night.  TOPANGA CANYON is owned, trained and driven by Peter Otten.


Retired son of the late Winwood Farm stallion, SAND CHASER, has a new career as the chariot horse for
the Michigan State University Spartans.  Dr. Brian Nielsen, a professor at MSU, drives the chariot in MSU
activities and he is using Pat and Bob Miller's trotter, EASY CHASER, for his parade horse this year.
EASY CHASER is pictured below in the 2012 MSU Homecoming Parade.

March 29, 2013 SOOO WINDY, by CANYON WIND out of SO HANOVER and bred by and raised here at Winwood Farm, is racing in the Petticoat Series at Yonkers Raceway.  She has already won one leg of the race and will be racing in the final of the Petticoat Pacing Series on Monday night, April 1st.  Read the USTA article here...
