At 2, CANYON WIND was the winner of the Woodrow Wilson elimination and second in the Niatross Stakes. As a 3-year-old, he was the winner of the Suslow Stakes elimination, the Max Hempt Memorial elimination, the KYSS elimination at Bluegrass Downs where he was second in the final, the Progress Pace elimination where he finished third in the final, and he won an Open at the Red Mile.

CANYON WIND was the winner of five Meadowland Opens, a Woodbine Open, Mohawk Preferred and Open. He finished second in the Dan Patch Final, the Allerage Final, the Balmoral Park FFA and a Meadowlands Open. He was third in a Woodbine Open, a Meadowlands open and Mohawk Preferred. CANYON WIND raced four winning miles in 1:49.1 or faster and was the winner of 13 races at the Meadowlands.

In 2015, WINWOOD MAC, by CANYON WIND, won the Breeders Championship for 2-year-old pacers in Ohio, and went on in 2016 to win 2 legs of the Ohio Sires Stakes and the Breeders Championship for 3-year-old pacers in Ohio, among many other wins, and paced the fastest 3-year-old mile in 2016, in Ohio, in 1:50.2f.  WINWOOD MAC, has gone on at four to earn a current lifetime mark of 1:49.4S.

With only 36 total starters, CANYON WIND'S progeny has amassed almost $1.8 million as of November, 2017.
